New doctoral student?

Welcome

This wiki is available to Young Researchers from the Population-Environment-Development Laboratory (UMR 151 - Research Institute for Development - Aix Marseille University). That is to say, doctoral students as well as post-doctoral students and interns.

In particular, it supports the committee of doctoral students which is part of a large project of shared governance. You can find the description of the committee, its purpose, and its missions here.

First, some useful links...

The doctoral committee
The doctoral committee meets once a month. The meetings are open to all trainees, doctoral students, and post-docs who wish. The minutes as well as the pad containing the agenda and the zoom link are systematically stored here.

The committees are there in particular to delegate the tasks that are incumbent on laboratory life. The doctoral committee is no exception. The roles and missions have therefore been distributed among the active members of the committee. You can find the table of roles here.

Beyond that, and in order to promote mutual aid between young researchers, a table of skills has been created. It identifies, for each doctoral student, these scientific and technical skills. You can access it here.

The trombinoscope
If you have just arrived, sign up for the young researchers directory. It allows you to leave a trace and identify all the trainees, doctoral students and post-doctoral students who have gone through the LPED for several years! This is an important stage of integration in the laboratory and some are particularly keen on it...
